Summary
The Construction Project Coordinator is an integral part of the Development and Construction team that will be executing the Parkmerced Vision Plan. The Coordinator will be responsible for keeping track of the documents and processes, and assisting project construction team with the planning, coordinating, and administration to ensure the projects are completed on time, on budget, within budget at Parkmerced and any future projects.
Responsibilities/Essential Job Duties
- Help research software for the company’s use and follow through to achieve proper use and adoption.
- Update PM software database, record budgets and schedules, and coordinate completion of work required for projects.
- Coordinate and participate in design and construction meetings and document and distribute meeting minutes.
- Assist in scheduling meetings with municipalities, neighborhood groups, design teams, and public hearings.
- Ensure all required project delivery processes and documentation are followed and complete.
- Assist in monitoring projects under construction to ensure adherence to development policies and procedures, and any audit requirements.
- Assist project team prepare, summarize, and provide updated project information and re-forecasted financial metrics on a periodic and ad hoc basis for inclusion in presentations, investor reports, and other materials.
- Coordinate the contract administration process for consultants and construction contractors.
- Receive, distribute, coordinate, evaluate and track RFI’s.
- Review and update project schedule with Construction Manager.
- Develop and assemble bid or proposal schedule and distribute packages and respond to bidder’s questions. Evaluate bid proposals and perform detailed bid tabulation.
- Create and submit purchase order requisitions, change orders and payment applications.
- Facilitate project close-out activities.
- Be a contributing member of the development/construction team to achieve established project long term and intermediate goals while help creating a culturally thriving and financially successful company.
- Support and manage small projects as required with oversight.
- Assist in RFP/RFQ process and prepare summaries for analysis as a basis of selecting business partners.
- Any other duties required by the project and the project team.

Educations and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction Management, Real Estate, Architecture, Civil Engineer, Business Administration or related field required.
- 2+ years of directly relevant work experience in construction, real estate and development.
- Background in urban design and planning, site planning, construction oversight and delivery and overall project management of residential and commercial developments through completion.
- Proven leadership skills that cultivate collaboration among the internal and external team members.
- Demonstrated record of successful project management in complex situations.
